Did a transaction throught the WU platform at Al Fardan Exchange website. When proceeding to pay and error ocurred. The amount was debited from my card and the receiver couldnt get the money. After various unsuccessful calls and emails they informed me that this amount would be credited back in 30 days. It has been more than that and still no amount credited. They are oftenly doing this in order to keep some kind of amount on hold from their customers. A kind of credit they get from them without their consent. A absolute scheme. Not reccommended.

Petty thieves, please go to another exchange house. Used their bank transfer system on the 1st of August to send money home. After 27 days and money nowhere to be seen in my account, I was forced to pay 120 aed just to realize that their intermediary bank did the wrong checks and the money was returned! The worst is that when i came back to get my money back, they charged me an exchange loss of 800aed like it was my fault that the money was not sent. Avoid them at all costs, use other more established exchange houses. 800 aed is a petty theft for a company as rich as them, worst is the significant complications it created for me by keeping this money for 27 days without sending it to my account back home.… – show

Not recommended. Its 5 days and numerous phone calls but no response from staff (3 women staff + 1 man + 1 manager) that why money is not credited. Highly risky

The worst customer service ever. a transfer didn't go through because of missing the middle name even if the first and last name is written correctly. There was no edit option on the app as it works in some times and in others it doesn’t. Asked for a refund and it took a month and 20 days to get the money back and when i went to this branch after the tech support sent me email to go there, the employee told me there is no sufficient funds under the case number

I have had frustrating experience at your branch located in IBN batuta mall. I had a remittance to collect from Bahrain and visited your branch In IBN batuta mall.
I waited in queue for few mins and was directed to the counter. Person sitting there named Yaseen asked my request and I gave him my mobile to see the details of the remittance I wanted to collect. He asked my ID and I provided my emirates ID. The name on the receipt is SYED FARHAN ISHAQUI and my Emirates ID has name on it whichgoes like this SYED FARHAN ISHAQUI SYED NUSRATULLA ISHAQUI.
IT IS NORMAL ON AN EMIRATES ID WHICH IS A NATIONAL ID CARD I'M UAE TO HAVE FATHER'S NAME SUFFIXED AFTER YOUR NAME. THIS IS A COMMON THING ALL THE RESIDENTS IN UAE ARE AWARE OF.
The guy Yaseen suddenly said the name on Id card does not match with the name on the remittance receipt so he cannot pay me. He said this is as per company policy. It was illogical to me that how come a national Id showing my name does not get accepted. So I asked for a copy of the policy which tell me this statement that name on Emirates ID should Match with receipt name and the guy for furious saying this is company Policy. I did not ask anything wrong I just asked to show me where is this Policy and the guy rudely asked me to go to Manger counter.
I moved and went to the queu of Manger counter. A Filipino guy I didn't notice his Name and waited for him to be free.
Meanwhile I called the CAll center number as I wanted to know what this illogical Policy of not accepting name on Emirates id was all about. Ahmed on the line connected and asked me to give the mobile to the counter manager.
I waited for almost 15 mins for the manager to be free to talk to the Call center guy on the line. Finally I had the chance to make them talk to each other and I don't know what they spoke to each other and when I started speaking to Ahmed about the case he said it is company Policy and again I asked where is this Policy and I wanted to talk to his manager. The guy was acting rude and said he cannot transfer the Call as he is busy.
I told him that it is not logic that you don't accept Emirates id as Id proof where name has father's name suffixed. He was reluctant to transfer the Call and was started behaving arrogantly. I told him I am going to raise it to consumer forum and complaint. He said please go and complaint ignoring my words.
I am writing this frustrating experience here just to let you that you are running a grocery shop and not an exchange house with unprofessional peple and illogical policies causing trouble and pain to customers. With a worst customer service.
I would like to bring it to the awareness of other customers and would also raise it to higher authorities in UAE where an exchange house has stupid policies where a national ID is not accepted as an identity proof.
I would never recommend an exchange like yours to anyone as you have wasted my precious time and also caused me frustrating experience.
Shut the exchange house if you want to trouble your customers like this.
I cannot imagine in Dubai or UAE I see such unprofessional companies.… – show
