I had previously written a 5 star review for ISS relocations as they handled my move from Dubai to Bangkok. Their team handled everything well in Dubai and in-spite of few hiccups things were addressed well.
I received a request for a review from ISS and so I had obliged not realising what awaited me in Bangkok. Hence I deleted my old review and am writing a new one.
This shipment arrived on time and was delivered by their partners. So far so good. However the problem began when cartons were unpacked. More than half boxes were labelled wrong. As a result the entire unpacking process took way too long because wrong cartons were placed in wrong rooms due to the information on the labels.
My home office files were not packed properly. Therefore upon unpacking we discovered that the content of over 150 files was all jumbled up. Took me one month to sort through thousands of documents and paperwork.
My husbands iMac was damaged and so were my magnetic compass. Everything was insured so we contacted ISS and provided pictures and details of the damaged good.
And then the circus started. ISS completely stopped dealing with us and the insurance company kept asking for strange documents (a letter from Apple store stating the iMac was damaged) that were hard to procure. We are still waiting for the insurance to pay us while ISS is not responding or following up.
Do not use this company, they are dishonest and unprofessional. Once you have paid them, you are on your own, they do not pay their international partners and make you pay them instead. I relocated in August 2021, from Abu Dhabi to Cyprus, it is now February 2022 and I still have not received my shipment, because they use dishonest company's and also don't pay them.

We relocated from UAE to NZ and unfortunately used ISS Relocation. ISS relocation would not pay their partners in NZ which meant our goods could not be delivered to us, even though it was sitting in a warehouse literally down the road for 2 months. After 30+ emails, ISS paid their NZ partners and we finally received our goods. Goods were packed early July 2021 and we took delivery end of December 2021 (6 months).

I selected to use their service due to a recommendation, it was a total disaster using this service after all. Due to emergency notice from the flat it was a request for storage here in Abu Dhabi and tentative redelivery to Dubai. This was last August 25,2021. The volume wasn’t not that much since I’m staying in a studio with limited items only. I paid what was asked of me more than a premium service for a studio apartment rate since I need to vacate the place ASAP. They sent me with 2 guys only and I have to go back to them asking one extra. Since, things didn’t went well in Dubai, I decided to stay in Abu Dhabi instead, however, to my surprise my stuff are in Dubai, which was not notified to me, but I didn’t give it a big deal. Sept 7, I informed the team that change in redelivery might be required. Sept 16 redelivery to Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. Kristine who spoke to my Gf was unprofessional, when asked what is the SOP for a studio move, how many staff should be sent? Instead of her explaining, she is becoming authoritative like she is the one paying for the service, KRISTINE of ISS Relocation is so unprofessional and sarcastic to the fullest! She is not paying for the service and it is my right to get what I paid for!

My concern now; I unpacked my 2 standard boxes containing my shoes and slippers. All were deform, not to mention these are my hard earned shoes and slippers! Headboard for my bed were dented! Handle for my wardrobe were scratched! My suits in hanger boxes were all messed up! Scratched in my door fridge!
Initial guys who did the service just dumped them inside the boxes. Nonetheless, I even give them my perishable item etc. it’s like a grocery for them and this is how the service I take.

I used this company to move abroad by recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, they are not as professional as they claim to be. There were several issues throughout the process. Several items were left behind after the packaging was finished and the packers had to be called back. They claim their packers are fully trained but on arrival to our new destination, many items were messed up such as items belonging to the bedroom were found in the box of kitchen items. Another finding was a heavy cast iron pan was placed on top of china bowls which was obviously smashed and a sewing machine had been placed over a ceramic Christmas decoration. The packers were instructed to leave certain items out of the boxes, however those items were found in the boxes and we had to ask them to re-open the boxes and find them. To add on, family medication had been mixed up with my son’s books and toys. As you can imagine, during a big shipment with 143 boxes not everything can be insured. A total of 15 items were found completely broken. Since we only insured the valuable and fragile items, when simple things such as a salad bowl were broken, the company would not give us any compensation for it. We understand these things were not insured, but we did not expect a huge volume of items to break which is why the simple things were not insured.… – show

We relocated from Sharjah to Paris in July of 2021. I met with and received quotes from several recommended companies across Dubai but the moment I met Anish I knew I wanted to work with him. He made things simple to understand and gave me confidence immediately that he was really listening to all my concerns. He was a great communicator from the start and despite being responsible for much larger projects than ours, he gave me the feeling that even my small shipment of boxes and a bike were as important as anything else he was handling. This to me was priceless. Even before we received the quote I has decided even if it wasn't the cheapest ISS was who I wanted to work with.
All the customs documents etc were clear and there was help with completing anything we weren't sure about. If we weren't sure Anish followed up with a phone call. The quote was the most competitive and he gave options the other companies didn't mention — there was always full transparency. Once packing day arrived the crew were at the house on time and did a brilliant job. Everything was packed carefully and efficiently and we were super impressed with how carefully logged everything was. Our items went to Dubai to the climate controlled storage awaiting our departure for France. My only very small criticism was that after the shipment was packed and taken to storage it took a little longer than I hoped to receive the final bill. Communication could have been a little better from the office but Anish was always prompt and soon we were receiving the confirmation that our shipment was in France. It passed customs with no issues whatsoever and a tiny tax bill of only 35AED as everything was in order thanks to Anish's help. Only 1 item was broken on receipt — just a small cup — but considering everything we were impressed that things has stayed safe and sound.
Instant name which comes to my mind is ISS Relocation. There number is 1st to call whenever it comes to shifting or Relocation services. Do call them if you want to shift your office, shift home or any other. Best Relocation, shipping, shifting and movers services in Dubai.

Beware this company and its fraudulent practices, They DO NOT HONOUR the signed contracts and always find a way to add extra expenses out of contract and last minute ad hoc changes to their agreed price! The sales guy Anish promises one set of conditions and fulfills none of them.. utter sham and a fraudulent enterprise!! They promise the world and deliver exactly the opposite with added fees, last minute change due to unforeseen circumstances and my delivery hasn’t even reached after 45 days with excuses as responses..!! As a moving company this is the classic example of how such individuals who blame moving companies unnecessarily and tarnish our image, mis-communicate to fellow customers without any legitimate reasoning or understanding of facts, who are 100% unethical by themselves, manipulative and who blame companies for their own selfish reasons.
The actual 3 reason for such feedback of move is as below: 1. He wanted to claim the move cost and extras from the company – which got denied. 2. He wanted the shipment to be send via Bangalore port (could not as this was groupage and we have to send it via Chennai box) – to avoid paying a 100% legitimate duty of $320 + $30 port storage with his connection at port. 3. He wanted to cheat us by taking the delivery and they not to pay – which by knowing his intention collected as per receipt and then only delivered.
As moving company we have done our best and received excellent feedback at origin: • Shipment surveyed and quoted as groupage and a contract has been signed & agreed for the same along with the groupage terms and conditions • The customer requested initially BANGALORE port since he wanted to try get a waiver on duty taxes of big screen TV which is approx 36% duty (India customs regulations emailed to customer) • Shipment moved on 1st available groupage to India to avoid any further delay • As a moving company we have agreed on a groupage service on door to door which we have committed and achieved • All charges billed as per actuals with proper documentary evidence of customs too • Being private customer we gave him credit till the shipment arrives and asked our dues before delivery/collected.
Further to this review, our management has initiated seeking an appointment with CHRO (Airlines company) and approached the ethics and compliance department to consult them if such individuals who try to exploit the company, tarnish there and our image for their personal benefit. When they see not getting success they blame the logistic company – knowing & understanding the terms and conditions of the contract. ISS also has documentary evidence of the customer asking for a FCL quote even though his volume surveyed and quoted was groupage to gain monetary benefit from the company which will be passed to the company. We also plan to name and shame by tagging this feedback and the company to let them know how they exploit the moving companies to save few $100’s… – show

For God sake, no one uses this company. My experience with them is lies, pain and frustration. I had signed a contract with them for door to door delivery of my furniture from Abu Dhabi to Dublin for 19000 dhs back is aug 2020. Items were picked up on first of sep of 2020 and still until today (24/03/2021) have not reached my family in Dublin yet!!!!!. I ended up paying up till now over 11,000 euros (double agreed amount)and shockingly still not received the shipment. Only after 25 days of items reaching irish customs they contacted me to pay 2000 Euros for customs so they can deliver next day. I paid online within Minutes and waiting to receive the items. Then it took them other 9 days to respond to my reminders about my shipment. Then again asked me to pay 2200 euros for demurrage charges. Even though I had no fault what so ever in these charges, I had paid regretfully just to receive my shipment as they again promised. They disappeared for over two weeks asking me to pay 10,000 for their Abu Dhabi office for the balance of fees in cash even though they have both of my checks with them. But they were worried that I might deduct from them against these demurrage charges that they made me pay even though it was a result of their lack of follow up of their work.I asked them to put that en an email that once again this payment Is made, my account will be cleared and they will deliver the next day. I did this 10,000 payment right the next day after receiving their email confirmation (on the 7 th of Jan 2021). Since then they did not deliver and stopped responding to my email reminders. I had no option but to take them to Dubai courts hoping to receive My furniture soon and be compensated for this frustration and anger. I hope to see them shut down soon to save others from being victims of such a lousy company and arrogant management.… – show

Please do not use this company! They packed my household goods on 31st Oct.Paid for this service on the same day via Bank transfer. Never received my receipt instead they sent me an invoice (which was incorrect). This was after numerous emails from myself and finally a phone call. They could not give me a accurate time when the ship was about to commence and i am still waiting for the goods to arrive into the UK. The communication is ridiculous, someone always passing it to someone else. I wish i went with another company. My goods are apparently in India… waiting to go onto another ship which is not bound for the uk until end March!!! Totally unacceptable..… – show
