WOULDN’T RECOMMEND MELODICA INSTITUTE IN MOTOR CITY TO ANYONE. The staff is untrained and they have no knowledge of schedules. They say missed classes can be covered up later but don’t fall for that because when that happens they say we’ll reschedule and never get back to you. They take full payment upfront and don’t accommodate at all. They change schedules last minute and you just have to adjust to that and if you can’t then there’s no makeover classes offered. It was my first time with this institute and was very very disappointed.
No one pickup the phone no one care about the student worst management and customer service ever

Extremely disappointing and frustrating when it comes to Arranging a makeup class. They charge fully and we pay extra to have a rightful eligibility to book for 2 missed classes yet they never get back to u. I have emailed called went physically for two months yet nothing! Finally i have given up and no longer want a makeup session and for this reason alone we shall not be continuing as this kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. And please do not respond to this and say to contact you on email cuz I have done that multiple times and your management is very unresponsive… – show

My experience with Melodica is very bad. Most of the staff there has poor information about the trinity exams and other details. My daughter has given her Trinity Vocal Rock & pop Exam in Grade 5 in the month of April 2022. While communicating with the Motor City branch, they confirmed that they lost the certificate which is totally sign of careless. Since then I am following up on the certification with Education department (Ms. SASHA), Motor City branch — reception, Business Dept.and several others. I have requested an e-mail confirmation from TRINITY that Melodica has requested the certificate. No one has got back to me yet in spite of several phone calls and visits to Motor city branch. This is highly unprofessional and absolute harassment.… – show

Been with this academy for past year. Recently notice that teacher are filming kids in class with my concern as a parents. As kids getting without giving notice when you notify them with short notice I have to provide medical report which cost AED 150. Why not each class charges Aed120. Concern of privacy of my kids is not be consider Given Front desk of my concern. They just ignore me and body gesture is unacceptable with rolling they eyes.

The company is a joke!!! You can't reach anyone, they take no responsibility for scheduling errors and lately they have adopted a policy to not accept cancelations EVEN if the student is sick. This is related to existing packages as well which is in violation of the customer protection laws of the UAE. Please, save yourself a headache and find another school for your child!!!

Very nice staff with dedicated professional teachers. Awesome learning experience for the kids. Janet, with whom we usually interact is particularly very helpful and genuinely concerned with our requirements relating to scheduling my kids classes etc. All the best to them.

We had a very bad experience here and were especially dissatisfied with their front desk response and lesson schedule. 1) When my daughter had violin trial, the teacher suggested two lessons a week, which we agreed with. However, when we finished our enrollment, they gave my daughter a different violin teacher and had to give my daughter one lesson a week because he was too full and couldn't schedule two lessons a week. 2) When the violin teacher changed to a new book to teach, we were provided by the front desk with few pages soft copy for the first lesson. However, since the second lesson, I have asked the front desk several times to send us the soft copy of the teaching pages, but they never provide. By the end, I have to buy the book from outside in order for my daughter to practice at home. 3) My daughter's primary ballet lesson was changed by them in September. I checked with them two days before the class to see if the primary ballet time had changed and they replied that it had not. However, when my daughter went to the class, she was told that there was only level 1 ballet class. Although the ballet teacher accepted my daughter to attend Level 1, what is the point of being forced to upgrade if my child has not learned the basics of primary ballet, instead just because their curriculum is not fixed? 4) A week ago I asked to enroll my daughter in additional private ballet class, yet no one has given me an answer until now. I guess their business is too busy to have new students.… – show

I'm a current adult piano student at the school with Ms. Tatjana and I'm super happy with my experience and my progress so far. In a span of three short months, I can read and play simple melodies which is definitely an accomplishment! I credit this to Ms Tatjana's patient and customized approach to learning- she is an incredible musician but also a wonderful human who knows when and how to push her students to their max potential.

Had visited the branch for shopping, as noticed that there were many branches across Dubai, inquired about the music classes for my daughter..the agent at the counter Ms Janet Diaz was very helpful in providing the information. Also received information about dance classes. Got all the information along with the brochure..thanks to Ms Janet who was very professional and answered to all my questions and cleared my doubts.
