    Read the whole story to know why YOU SHOULD NEVER NEVER NEVER DEAL WITH GENIUS ATTESTATION DUBAI (if you value your time, money and your mental health). I contacted Genius Attestation Dubai on November 25th asking for obtaining the Police Clearance Certificate from Oman with apostille and courier delivery to Thailand. On 28th November I received the invoice for AED 1500. From which 950 for the PCC, 300 for apostille and 250 for courier. The next day I processed the payment and sent the email with confirmation to the company. As per them I should’ve received the letter of confirmation with tracking number, and after that they should’ve initiated the process. I sent a follow up email on December 4th. Nobody replied. On December 7th my circumstances suddenly changed, the document was not necessary anymore, so the same day I sent an email to Genius Attestation specialist to stop the process and requested the refund. In WhatsApp chat I was informed that my PCC was already initiated. However only that day I finally received my tracking number and payment confirmation. I was also told that process would be stopped and I would get informed about the refund soon. Since that day the real nightmare started. Once in a week I was trying to contact someone to get an update. Time to time I was getting indistinct replies informing me that I would get the information “soon”. Most of the time I was just ignored, my messages in WhatsApp and emails remained unanswered. After a month of trying, I finally got a reply from a person named Keerthi saying that the specialist, who was dealing with my case is on emergency leave, the manager is also on emergency leave, and my refund just got approved by the accounts department, I would receive the refund in 5—6 working days. In more than a week, when I realized that the money was still not transferred, I got back again to the same person, but came to know that he IS ALSO ON LEAVE. Since than I lost the count of people who I was dealing with (Nikhat, Jinciya, Abdul and so on). And also lost the track of lies coming out from their mouths. Everyone was pretending that they had no idea who I was and what was the issue. After 3 months of humiliation and disrespect I finally got a reply to one of my emails from a new assigned manager Jubayr. He assured me that he would personally deal with my situation and would definitely resolve the issue. It took another month for him to get the details of my case, get the approval for refund and confirm the amount of AED 1000, which I supposed to receive by April 15th. IN 4 MONTHS SINCE THE DAY I SUBMITTED THE REFUND REQUEST. AED 500 they deducted as a “service charge”. Surprisingly, after everything, what I went through, they still decided that they provided some service for me. I patiently waited for 15th April, but money was not transferred. Around 20th April I started attacking their office with emails and messages again. By the end of the month I came to know that the manager was also gone for an emergency leave and nobody else in the office had an idea about my refund status. After several conversations with a lady named Irfana I finally got an email with the confirmation of transfer on May 9th and finally received my refund in couple of days after that. From USD 408, which I originally sent to them, I got back only 247 (transfer fee also was charged to me). Awful experience! I wasted 5 months of my life to get the money back, lost more than USD 150 and absolutely sure, that all the good reviews about this company are fake! … – show

    Why you should *never* deal with Genius Attestation:
    Dishonest: They try to sell you their “express” service (Rs. 3000 extra) and say that you will get your document attested in 2 weeks while “standard” service takes 3 weeks. The truth is that they put express and standard together and you just end up paying for nothing. The lady who sold me “express” was Nancy, their staff based in India. My document was submitted on 25 November 2022 in India, and I got it back only on 16 December (i opted to collect from UAE because they were pathetically slow). I had to yell at them multiple times on the phone to get it at least by that date. This is what they call “Express” service. What a frustrating experience!

    Money-minded: Their Kannur office (Lukkuman) refused to accept my original document without paying them first. I paid 50% but Nancy kept harassing me for the remaining 50% so I paid it. I got shitty service in the end. Despite all this Nancy had the audacity to say I need to pay an extra Rs. 1000 to deliver the document to my residence. Even government services charge only AED 15 for document delivery. The least they could have done was send the document to compensate for the poor overpriced experience!

    Cowardly management: I requested several times to speak to management. They hide behind their minions like Nancy, Lukkuman, and the lady who answers calls on their UAE number. On one call I could hear them talk in the background. The staff like Nancy and Lukkuman are hesitant to share management contacts saying it will affect their job.

    Customer unfriendly: On one occasion I called Nancy after being totally fed up of days of inactivity on my case. She had the audacity to say that she is on her lunch break! After all the yelling and shouting I had to do to get them to do their job, I asked them to at least scan my attested document and send me the copy so I can apply for the family visa without further delay involved in collecting it from their office It costs them nothing to scan a document and email it but still they refused

    Fake reviews: Most of the reviews about this place are written by people who have done only 1—2 reviews on Google and they praise specific staff members. I'm pretty sure they're all fake and it's done to artificially inflate their star rating on Google.

    Overpriced: They charged Rs. 15,000 (around 700 AED) for attesting an indian marriage certificate. Other service providers charge you only 450 AED. They are selling you poor, slow, unfriendly service at a high price. Why even bother with Genius Attestation? ⁉️⁉️

    One of the biggest mistake was giving my documents for attestation to these people. They take full amount in advance and if the work is not done they will take months to return your money back. I gave 3 TC's for MOFA attestation, they asked full amount of 900AED in advance and I paid that. after nearly 10 days when i asked for certificate it was not done and also I do not need attestation any more as per new rule, so I asked them to return my certificates. it was in September and from then I am … – show

    MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER. Completely unprofessional staff, they told me it will take 25 working days but it took them almost 2 months to return my certificates. I had to call and follow up continuously as the customer care executive won't provided any clear answer, they kept me waiting for long just to tell that it's under progress. When I requested to talk to a manager the guy who spoke was very arrogant and rude. I felt that my academic certificate were in wrong hands.

    Unprofessional. They agreed to deliver on a date and it was not happened… then agreed to send scanned copy, but after that no response… Call center attended the calls and disconnects …Landline also same… mobile number not answering… Money collection was very fast, happened in an hour… but for delivery I have to keep on calling them…still not happened….
