Today my 2 children had a check-up at Mediclinic Deira City Center. I wasn't aware that Mediclinic is now charging for plastic bags for medicines. There was a very unhappy Arabic man in the pharmacy who gave the medicines. I asked him to put my children's medicine in separate bags. He said with his grumpy face that there is a charge of 50fils per bag. I was also busy attending important calls and I didn't argue, I just asked if he is serious and he said “YES”. He collected from me 75fils instead of 1dirham. It was my first time being changed for a plastic bag in a pharmacy in Dubai. It's not the amount, it was the attitude of the man. I can't believe that I encountered such a bad attitude from a person, especially in Mediclinic which has a high standard of medical care and good customer service.
Became a victim of an untrained staff at call Centre. Wife had an appointment at Mediclinic DHCC branch at 10:00am for some examination. Was looking for another appointment for GP since we both got fever at night. Since the next GP available appointment was at 4:00pm on the same branch and I was looking for the immediate one, I was recommended to take GP appointment at mediclinic deira Branch which was available for 11:40 and 12:00 noon. So taken as suggested.
After spending 1 hour on the road, I and my wife Reached to hospital at appointment time and was told that Axa insurance card is not accepted here and we have to pay CAsh which I refused.
After lots of argument I was told that I can see the doctor after 3 hours at Gharound branch which was not acceptable, I quit and went to ESH in DHCC.
I told them that my son is already sick and we are on road for last 1 hour for this appointment but they didn’t accommodate us.
It was their error and I found this process ridiculous that they were not able to take necessary action to compensate their own mistake and let us see the doctor on the appointment.
I have raised the issue with DHA. Let’s see how it goes.
My concerns are
1. Lack of training for call Centre staff 2. I told them we both have the fever so let’s proceed with appointment but they cannot allow this until I accept the cash payment option. Which I believe is not correct and requires amendment.… – show

Clean well maintained facility. Mobile app could be better with more functionalities like downloading lab report etc. Each clinic should have own phone number instead of having a common contact number.

خمس نجوم بصراحة للدكتورة همسة نوري الي كانت دكتورتي في برايم و استمريت معاها لما راحت ميديكلينك ، الدكتورة همسة بصراحة هي انسانة قبل ما تكون دكتورة كتير ودودة و بتهتم بادق التفاصيل و دائما تتواصل معي و تطمن علي ، كتير كنت مرتاحة معا مع ان كان عندي تخوف من الولادة القيصرية لكن الحمد لله ساعدتني كتير و و قدرت اتجاوز المخاوف و تمت الولادة بسهولة الحمد لله. و طبعا ما بنسى اهتمام الممرضة و مساعدتها الي.

Very bad experience, i took my daughter so the doctor requested a test for her, no one called to give us the result, also it’s extremely hard to talk to someone on the phone. Not prefesionnal at all, after that no prescription has been sent. A pure DESASTER even though the doctor was very nice and very thoughtful

A great location for a clinic, with staff who are all very professional. The General Practitioner doctors in particular are highly recommended.

There are mediclinic branches closer to my home than Deira, but i always go there just to see Dr. Hamsa! She is brilliant and solved a problem that others couldnt solve for me for months! The service is also great at the hospital in general.

I would like to thanks Dr Hamssa Nori. her professionalism and experience beyond expectations. She was explaining for us everything and took us through the whole months of pregnancy to the delivery of the baby with care and answering all questions even after hours.

All staff is friendly from reception, nurses and doctor. Special thanks to Dr. Abdul Razak he really cares and listens to his patient.
