But once the service was completed and when I opened the cartons they had packed my items, I was totally disappointed.
All items mixed and packed in unhygienic and unsafe manner.
Who will pack the toilet cleaning brush and tooth brush in the same box?
Who will pack the fertilizer and soil for plants along with dishes/plates used in kitchen?
Who will pack the wet plates and open bottles, used dishes along with whatever item available in the room?
They did.
Packing was just filing the cartons with whatever they got on hand. Not categories, no thinking, no professionalism applied.
I am not sure why this happened. I received quote from 800truck. But the people who came were from a company named, Star edge movers. When I asked about it, they informed we are same sponsors and it’s same service.
If what they said was true, “same service” then I doubt the reviews received for 800truck over internet.
The truck was not fully closed on the top side. Thank god it dint rain.
Only good side was the way the crew treated the customer. They were well spoken and mannered.
But the service was very poor in case of packing.
They handled furniture, appliances all with good care. Uninstalling and reinstalling of furniture and appliances were well taken care of.
But the way they packed items
Inside the carton, totally unprofessional. Especially the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Even few fragile items were broken.
I had to clean most dishes, boxes and a lot more items, before I could use. As they were mixed up unhygienic way. Also had to throw few.
Now I regret not choosing other quotes for cheaper price from other not so famous suppliers. I dint get service worth what I paid for.
