Always had good cleaners with good quality.
I have had nothing but problems with Service Master, I put through two requests, one for a handyman to come and fit some shelves and two lights and one for a locksmith to come and put a new lock on my front door.
When the team arrived it seemed to be a team of Handymen rather than individual Locksmith and Handyman, I showed them the work that needed to be done and they started with the lights then moved on to the lo ck. At first they said it wouldn’t fit the door due to it’s thickness, on showing them the instructions that came with the lock they found actually it would fit but they didn’t have the correct tools. At this point I had lost faith in them and said that if you aren’t 100% certain you can do it then don’t attempt it as once you’ve made a hole in a door there is no way back! The insisted they could do it and went to get the tools. Meanwhile someone someone went to fit the shelf (probably the easiest of the three jobs), I showed them the location and left them to it more concerned about the door, I watched them for three hours trying to fit the lock, eventually they managed to do it so it works but they have made irreparable damage to my door.
Overall;
— The door is damaged beyond repair with the whole cut to big (see photos)
— The lights are hanging different lengths from the ceiling and the white fabric cords are very dirty.
— The shelves were put in the correct place but after I left I put a towel on it and it fell down!
I have been in touch with Service Market over the last 4 weeks;
— Take days to respond to emails and whatsapp’s.
— Refuse to issue a refund.
— Want to send the same incompetent team to fix the issues. … – show

It all started with the booking. I booked a deep cleaning 2,5 weeks in advance with Joan for a Friday. Only 3 days in advance she let me know she would cancel the appointment due to the fact she had no staff available because of the holidays. The holidays were actually on the day she cancelled but not on that Friday.
I tried contacting other companies but because it was so last minute I had no other choice than to reschedule to Saturday when my family would arrive in Dubai.
As I said, I had booked a deep cleaning and so you would expect a spotless house after. Unfortunately that was not the case and I still had to vacuum and clean after.
I had paid AED 525 for 4 hours of cleaning by 3 people for a 1 bedroom apartment. But after 3 hours they were already gone.
In all fairness when I got home, the team asked me to check and I sort of did. But I did not do a proper inspection cause I thought it wasn’t needed.
I did see right away I had to put the curtains and couch back in place and some small items that were moved but I didn’t want to make a big fuzz because of that.
Things that really upset me were: no cabinet doors or big doors were cleaned, water stains on the floor and everywhere in the bathroom, no dusting of a wall rack/shelf or scrubbing off the lime scale in the sinks.
It really felt they had only vacuumed (there was still some dirt on the floor) and mopped. Basically a regular cleaning.
